‘Music, Healing and Creativity’ with Peter Shearer
18 - 22 September 2019
Event Type: Music, Healing and Creativity
Residential Check In: 4 p.m. Wednesday
Residential Check Out: 10 a.m. Sunday
Non-residential guests welcome!
Led by: Peter Shearer - http://www.petrapeace.co.uk with guest musician: Paul Trenchard (Trench)
In these few days, led by Peter Shearer, you will explore and experience the power of music in enhancing creativity and relaxation, and accelerating healing. Whether or not you are musical, Peter will lead you into a place of freedom where peace, harmony and creativity can flourish. You will also learn how to use music to help friends who suffer in body, mind or spirit.
Music is now widely used in the medical and counselling fields, and can provide significant help for a wide variety of ailments. Peter will explain why and how music is so effective, and will give you plenty of opportunities to receive God’s healing power yourself as he and Paul Trenchard (Trench) play reflective music and offer times of ‘soaking’.
There will be times of worship where participants are encouraged to use their own creativity (instruments, dance, flags, drawing and painting). Please feel free to bring your own instruments and creative tools or just come an enjoy!
Peter Shearer is a musician from Norfolk who helps those who lack peace to find it. Clients have included Mencap, Age Concern, prison and drug rehabilitation centres, hospitals, hospices and cancer centres. He also plays at healing and ‘soaking’ sessions for various churches, and provides one-to-one and small-group therapy sessions.

‘God’s House’ is a detailed account of how Nicholaston House came into existence by the man who had the vision and was given instruction direct from God.
In 1990 God unmistakably led Sue and Derrick Hancock to Swansea to see a vision fulfilled which God had given them some years previously. The booklet (A5, 53 pages, colour) gives a brief factual account of what God did and is doing. It has been written for two reasons - to give glory to God and to show what very ordinary people can do when they step out in faith with God. 'All that we have accomplished, You have done for us' - Isaiah 26 v 12.
